This photo earned me the British Wildlife Photography Award for the 12-14 age group, something I feel really thankful for. I took it on a boat trip around Bass Rock, the world’s largest northern gannet colony. Being surrounded by thousands of seabirds was absolutely breath-taking. I remember feeling completely amazed as I watched gannets soaring, diving, and calling all around me.
